Welcome to W3Unix: Virtual Unix on the World Wide Web

This is a product coming soon from Morris Softronics.  More details will be here shortly.

W3Unix is a project by Morris Softronics to convert a small number of unix commands for use over the World Wide Web.  This includes commands such as CHPASSWD (and its derivitives), a text editor (for a limited number of files), MAN, and some file management tools.

What exactly will be available will depend on our contractors.

We plan to make this all password protected via the Unix operating system with no additional maintenance required for the site administrator. The system will generally permit users to change their unix passwords, edit their .PLAN and .PROJECT files, run FINGER queries, and possibly do file management for PUBLIC_HTML directories and such.
